Indian Herbs for Hair Growth

Hair loss and slow hair growth can be caused by number of factors including genetics, hormone imbalances, too much or too little protein, chemically based hair care products, nutrient deficiencies, scalp infections, chronic stress, lack of sleep and alcohol intake.

Here are few natural herbal treatments which contain most of the natural nutrients that have proven to effectively stop hair loss and stimulate hair growth.

Hair Growth Treatment – 1

Aloe Vera has been used by many Indians to promote healthy hair and hair growth. A common preparation of Aloe Vera gel with small amount of Wheat Germ Oil and Coconut Milk is used as a shampoo.

Hair Growth Treatment – 2

Indian Gooseberry or Amla is a natural treatment for hair growth. It can be used as a powder mixed with ground Henna Leaves, making a paste and then being applied to the scalp.

Hair Growth Treatment – 3

Use Fenugreek and soak it in a big pot of water over night. The next morning, use solution and rub it into the scalp, then wrap the towel on head for few hours. After that remove the towel and rinse the hair cleanly with water. Repeat the process for about 3 to 4 weeks.

Hair Growth Treatment – 4

Mix Lemon, Olive Oil, Egg Yolk and Mustard Seeds. The solution is then applied on the hair and scalp. Let it stand for about an hour. Give the hair a good clean wash before applying the above paste.

Hair Growth Treatment – 5

Rosemary Leaves are often used to prepare a fragrant hair care solution. Boil the leaves in water and then drain out the solution. For hair growth, use the solution to wash your hair.
